Renato Paiva has always followed his passions and puts his heart into everything he commits to. Originally from Brazil, and with a successful career as an international squash player, Paiva competed as the Brazilian Junior Champion and was a top junior player in Latin America. He represented his home country on the National Team as its captain, and graduated from Run Barbosa University with a Business degree. Renato then came to the United States where he served as the Assistant Coach at Harvard University and as the Head Coach at USC – University of Southern California.
To say that Renato cares about the future of youth and the importance of education is an understatement. In 2007, Renato joined Access Youth Academy as its Executive Director to help adolescents in underprivileged communities become leaders who would be qualified to attend prestigious universities. Since 2007, he has led three classes through the program and has helped place young men and women into prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Columbia, UC Berkeley, Pennsylvania and Dartmouth to name a few. During this time, he has become an expert on college recruiting and has developed a highly efficient method of preparing for and placing students in top-ranked universities in the United States.
University Pros was created by Renato to help youth around the world to have the opportunity of reaching their highest level of education possible. Renato and his team truly believe that every student has the potential to become a leader and with the right knowledge and experiences, they can make the world a better place.
